Masters &Teaching Assistant

I have done my Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and as a Teaching Assistant at Oakland University's Engineering department, I bridged the gap between theoretical foundations and hands-on practice. I supported undergraduate engineering lab courses, helping students develop practical skills in circuit design, microcontroller programming, and embedded systems prototyping.

This role sharpened my ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, mentor students at varying skill levels, and develop instructional materials that improved comprehension of real-time embedded systems topics.

  • Assisted undergraduate students in designing, building, and debugging electrical circuits across multiple lab sessions each week.
  • Taught ARDUINO microcontroller programming and hardware interfacing, enabling students to build functional embedded prototypes from scratch.
  • Evaluated student lab reports and projects, providing detailed and constructive feedback to guide improvement.
  • Held regular office hours to address individual student questions and learning gaps.
  • Developed supplementary instructional guides and code examples to reinforce core concepts covered in lectures.
  • Collaborated with faculty to improve lab curriculum and update exercises to reflect current industry tools and practices.
